theboywithmakeup Hi, I'm Brandon Michael and I live in NYC. This is my blog dedicated to makeup. I am learning what does and doesn't work, new techniques, products and brands to try. I'll be posting tips, tricks, reviews, favorite products and some guy related things for the rest of the guys out there that wear makeup for various reasons.

For those who didn’t see it on @msritzybitz’s page I tried a different eyebrow shape, yes I know I can glue the brows down better this was a late night random thing. Let me know what you think :)

“Hi! I'm 23 and never worn make-up or even learned how to apply it. I don't have any female relatives I can ask and I'm (stupidly, I know) embarrassed to ask friends. What should I buy? How do I learn?”

Sorry for getting to this so late!!!! Honestly, YouTube is the best way to learn! That’s how I learned :)

“Hey Brandon! Are you going to pick up anything from Urban Decay's Pulp Fiction collection?”
    -guro-princess

If I do a Drag tutorial would you prefer it be a speed through where you see everything, or a full edited tutorial step by step?

Swatch Saturday: Maybelline Color Tattoo Leather in Vintage Plum & Creamy Beige. They didn’t swatch the best but they are creamy and apply well on my eyes. I use my Sigma P82 to put them in my crease

How to make Snow Queen Lashes by Karla Powell
1. Paint cheap lashes in a white base. I used Kryolan Shimmering Event Foundation in ‘Pearl’
 2. Using Syntho SS011 CrownbrushBrush apply a loose powder base evenly to add a shine and set the base of the lashes with Kryolan in Living Color Pigment in ‘Rosé Quartz’.
 3. Using Sprit gum loosely as a sticky base, gently layer over the lashes and add Lime Crime Zodiac Glitter ‘Virgo’ to the tips of the lashes (this acts as a snow effect) Finish off with sprinkle of Kryolan Polyester Glimmer in ‘Pearl Lilac’.
 4. Finally with more spirit gum applied in random areas of the lashes , sprinkle Nail Art Beads & Large glitter pieces (both from an art shop!) over the lashes!
Hope you are inspired! Please tag me f you try and re create them.
